Prometheus- The Deacon (#2)

A not-so-prequel to the successful Alien franchise that was intended as a prequel, the movie Prometheus is remembered as a let-down due to confusing and nonsensical writing, despite being a visual masterpiece from the mind of Ridley Scott and visionary H.R. Giger. Following a transmission to the end of space, human kind encounters their creators: but the question becomes, who created them? And, more importantly, why do they wish to destroy us, their creations? The so-called Deacon is an obvious callback to the Xenomorphs of the Aliens franchise, and initially was concepted to be a larger part of the film, with the intention that there would be up to ten different species the crew would encounter.
